A storage room discovery and a little curiosity became a digital archive tracing love, migration and family across generations. Ran simultaneously on all four outlets — same Glacier Media network, same story.

An amusing find: an AI-generated news podcast — not a real outlet, its own episode notes admit “this is an automated, high-level news summary based on public reporting” — found and summarized the Vancouver Sun coverage of an AI project.

A feature on how the archive came together — finding the box in storage, translating the Yiddish courtship letters, and the checks the project used against AI hallucination — built around Paul's own account of Sam and Dora's story.

Called it “a really beautiful bit of family history work, and a decent example of ‘AI, but used well,’” while noting the site's own AI-generated prose still reads as mechanical in places.
